About Us

We are a small, family owned carriage company, specializing in hayrides, weddings, and agricultural events. We do a number of demonstrations with horsedrawn equipment, as well as different private events for clients of all ages. Our team consists of husband and wife duo, Matt and Stephanie, who have a combined 30+ years in the industry.

We breed and are very passionate about Percherons! They originated in western France, more specifically what was formally the Perche Province. It is believed that the breed was cultivated by the former war horses. Percherons are known for their intelligence and work ethic, as well as beauty, making them perfect candidates to help us celebrate clients on their special day.

Because we are so passionate about the breed, we raise and train every horse we use at an event. All our horses are dual purpose, and able to do everything from weddings, to demonstrations with antique farm equipment, to having successful show careers.

Past horses that have been bred and/or trained by the farm can be found in local show homes and as far away as South America. He has driven multiple horse hitches, successfully shown homebreds, and even made an appearance in a nationwide documentary. Matt also has experience in breaking horses to both ride and drive, using simple yet effective methods.

Stephanie has vast experience in Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation. She is trained in saddle fitting through the Master Saddlers Association and has been a working student with several trainers of different disciplines. More recently her main focus has shifted to working with younger horses and bringing out their full potential. Stephanie uses a wide variety of training methods, stemming from disciplines such as classical dressage and hunters to principles of natural horsemanship.
